Product engineer & founder. 15+ years building products, leading teams, and helping people grow.
I've spent 15+ years building software, but my path was never a straight line. I started writing code, then found myself leading teams, co-founding a startup, and eventually advising founders on what to build and what to skip. Each role taught me something the previous one couldn't — and that compound perspective is what I bring to every project today.
These days I'm focused on product engineering, AI-augmented development, and mentorship. I care about shipping things that matter with good judgment — not just writing code, but making the right calls on architecture, scope, and people. I also mentor engineers and professionals who want to land US remote roles, step into leadership, or build something of their own.
Outside of work, music is the thread that runs through everything. I'm a multi-instrumentalist involved in several projects here in Montevideo — as Red Hot Chili Peppers put it, "music is my aeroplane." My family — Aurora, León, and Sofía — are the center of my world, and honestly, most of what I build is so I can be more present with them. I also love traveling as a bit of an anthropologist, chasing local voices wherever I go, and staying active through running, biking, and kettlebell training.
